Coloured Glass Splashbacks

Glass splashbacks and glass bathroom cladding, also known as back-painted glass, are excellent alternatives to tiles. Glass is an ideal material to use in wet areas; it is waterproof, hygienic, easy to clean and will not wear or discolour.

A huge range of colours are available, along with a number of different finishes such as metallic and glitter. We work to the RAL Classic colour standard, and colours can even be custom matched to your requirements.

There are numerous other uses for coloured glass as a decorative or architectural feature in the home or commercial setting:

• feature panels for walls
• wardrobe doors
• table or desktop
• shower splashbacks
• coloured glass bath panels

Please see our gallery for some ideas.
What type of glass is used?
The majority of splashbacks are cut in 6mm toughened safety glass, but any thickness can be used, e.g. 19mm glass for worktops.

What needs to be completed before you can measure for the splashback?
Cabinets, work tops, sockets, cookers / hobs and hoods need to be in place, but we can give you a quotation based on rough measurements or drawings.

How is the splashback installed?
The splashback is secured to the wall using a high strength adhesive with no visible fixings. It can be sealed around the edges with a translucent sealant if required.

What about sockets or other cut-outs?
The glass can be cut to accommodate sockets and other shapes. Where neccessary, a full-sized template will be taken to ensure an accurate fit.
